About the event
The class will include lecture, demonstration and practice testing on pressure vacuum breakers, double check valves, and the reduced pressure principle backflow prevention assemblies.
The Backflow Tester Refresher Training takes place the same week on Thursday and Friday, a 16 hour "refresher" course. This course allows experienced certified testers to refresh their knowledge and skills, before taking the re-certification test.
Any "refreshing" attendee who wishes to attend all 40 hours must attend the Monday Session with the new students.
Students will receive checklists, classroom instruction, opportunities to practice testing skills, and upon successfully completing the course, a certificate of completion and the opportunity to become Certified as an ADEQ recognized Backflow Assembly Tester.
